Sue Whitney- President of JUNKMARKET
Nearly nine years ago, Sue Whitney (then a stay-at-home mom of ten years) was looking for something meaningful to do outside of the home. With her kids in school, she wanted to pursue a career that would feed both her mind and soul. While watching her son A.J. play hockey, her passion dawned on her: JUNK! As a veteran stuff-in-the rough shopper, she realized that while others went to flea markets to find turn-key antiques, she was digging, scraping, and crawling to find the junk no one else wanted. But, then again, she didn't see junk. She saw one-of-a-kind furniture, whimsical accessories, and renewed uses for recycled nostalgia.

JUNKMARKET’s emergent appeal led Sue to her ultimate goal of sharing her stylish reuse, recycle, and re-purpose message on a national level. Sue is the creative engine behind www.junkmarketstyle.com and is a co-author of leading “junking” books.
