Which glue to fix a ceramic teapot lid?

I broke my teapot lid (in half) and would like to know which Gorilla Glue would work best -- the brown one or the epoxy? The lid will not be in direct contact with the heated water but would need to withstand the heat from the steam. Thanks!

Re: Which glue to fix a ceramic teapot lid?

I would use our original brown formula Gorilla Glue.  It is 100% waterproof, non-toxic and inert when cured so the heat from the steam will not bother it at all.

Gorilla Epoxy is only water resistant so the steam will eventually break down this bond.
